Overview
The HPE Storage Rack-mount Kits (formerly known as HPE StoreEver Rack-mount Kits) provide a high-density, rack-mountable tape drive solution for SAS backup and archiving applications in a 1U rack-mount kit. The 1U HPE StoreEver Rack-mount Kit accommodates up to two half-height internal SAS tape drives with a maximum capacity of 90 TB (2.5:1 compression) using two HPE StoreEver LTO-9 Ultrium 45000 drives.

Space-efficient Way to Rack-mount MSL Tape Drives
The HPE StoreEver 1U Generic Rack-Mount Kit allows customers to rack-mount SAS-based tape drives with appropriate cabling.
In addition to no tools required for installation, the HPE StoreEver 1U Generic Rack-mount Kit provides top access and a removable drive tray for easier access to LTO tape drives.
The enclosure supports internal LTO tape drives, allowing for drive upgrades when you need additional capacity or want to migrate to a new generation of LTO tape drives.
Data transfer rates up to 300 MB/s using LTO-7, LTO-8, or LTO-9 Ultrium drives.
